Applications for Vallourec's 2023 Internship Program are open until July 31st. Opportunities are aimed at technical and higher level students of Business Administration, Information Technology, Mechanics, Electromechanics, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Electrical Maintenance, Metallurgy, Mining, Occupational Safety, Automation, Buildings, Chemistry, Logistics, Civil, Engineering (Electronics) , Petroleum, Chemistry, Mechanics, Electrical, Civil, Control and Automation, Environmental, Production, Materials, Metallurgy, Mechatronics, Computing, Telecommunications, Systems), Geology, Accounting Sciences, Information System, Computer Science, Advertising, Relations Public Affairs, Journalism, Graphic Design, Nursing, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, International Relations, International Business, Foreign Trade, Law, Psychology, Librarianship, Archivology, Chemistry and Social Service.
79 vacancies will be made available for higher education students and 11 for technical course students. The opportunities are to work at Vallourec units in Brazil in the cities of Belo Horizonte, Curvelo and Jeceaba (MG), in Rio das Ostras (RJ), in Guarulhos and Taubaté (SP), and in Serra (ES). The activities begin in August this year and the internships have a workload of six hours a day and last for one year, with the possibility of extension. Throughout this period, students will be supervised by professionals in the field, who will assist in learning and monitor the development of each participant.
Prerequisites
The selection process is aimed at students from 18 years old and has six stages. They are: online test and screening of requirements, selective stage with HR, psychological assessment, technical interview, medical assessment and hiring (term of commitment and internship plan).
Participants must have intermediate knowledge of the Office Suite and knowledge of programming tools and Power BI and advanced English will be considered differentials.
Higher education candidates must be studying from the 3rd period onwards, with graduation expected between July/2025 and December/2026. Technical level students must be attending or have already attended the 1st module of the associate degree.
Benefits
In addition to a grant in the amount of BRL 1,613 (*BRL1,297 at the Florestal unit) for higher education students and BRL 1,199 for technical students, participants will be entitled to medical insurance, life insurance, paid recess, restaurant in the location, food vouchers, chartered transportation and/or transportation assistance and access to a benefit and discount club.
