Vallourec is selecting young talents to work at the Belo Horizonte and Jeceaba units through the Young Apprentice Program 2023. The initiative, with the support of Senai Ouro Branco and Senai Contagem, aims to expand first job opportunities for youths between 17 and 20 years old. This year, 120 positions will be available, and interested candidates can choose from the following areas: Industrial Systems Automation, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, and Conventional Machinery and Tools Operator. Candidates have until July 23rd to apply through the website www.vagas.com.br/vallourec.

The courses have a duration of one year and are divided into theoretical and practical stages. According to Vallourec’s Recruitment and Selection Coordinator, Renata Costa, the Young Apprentice Program opens doors for training and development of young individuals for the job market. The youths are supported throughout the learning period, and if opportunities arise within Vallourec, they may be absorbed by the company upon completing the course. “Vallourec strives to provide opportunities for high-performing youths to be considered for available positions that align with their profiles, so they can develop their careers in their chosen areas,” says Renata. In addition to the opportunity for job market training, selected young participants receive a scholarship, meal allowance, transportation allowance, and medical assistance during the program.

Requirements

The positions for the Industrial Systems Automation and Industrial Maintenance Mechanic courses are open to candidates born between September 2003 and September 2006, who have completed or are currently enrolled in the 2nd year of high school.
