Vallourec presents technologies for the oil and gas industry at Bahia Oil & Gas Energy 2024

Vallourec, a world leader in premium tubular solutions, was present at Bahia Oil & Gas Energy 2024, an international event held at the Salvador Convention Center focusing on the oil and gas sector in the North and Northeastern regions of Brazil. More than 10 thousand visitors were able to get to know the company’s solutions for the challenging environment of onshore and offshore operations.

At its booth, the company presented samples of VAM^® connections. The product has been in the worldwide oil and gas industry for over 50 years, with categories ranging from premium to semi-premium, integral and tube and coupling. This wide range of products reflects our commitment to meeting the diverse and demanding needs of the industry, offering solutions that guarantee performance and reliability in a variety of applications and operating conditions.

Other solutions presented during the event were coatings for tubular projects. The highlight was a slice sample with 5LPP technology, an anti-corrosion coating to protect against solid, liquid and gaseous agents, which prevents these elements from coming into contact with the pipe surface, increasing its life span.

In addition, visitors were able to see a small scale 3D version of Delphy, a vertical compressed hydrogen gas storage system being developed by the company, which is in its final certification phase.
