Oil & Gas

From September 21 to 24, Vallourec participated in Rio Oil & Gas 2026 at Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro. As one of the world’s leading events for the energy industry, ROG.e provided a platform for Vallourec to showcase solutions focused on improving the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of offshore operations. The company was also represented in the congress’ technical program, reinforcing its leadership in developing solutions and advancing discussions on key trends shaping the future of the industry.

"Oil and gas projects increasingly require advanced solutions capable of combining performance, safety, and operational efficiency. CLEANWELL® and Proxxima™ resin systems with Goldilocks™ technology demonstrate how innovation can address our customers' most critical challenges, from well operations to flow assurance in subsea systems. Showcasing these technologies at ROG.e is an opportunity to highlight how Brazil continues to expand its capabilities within Vallourec's global strategy."

André Lacerda
President of Vallourec South America

Among the highlights showcased at the Vallourec booth were CLEANWELL®, a solution applied to premium VAM® connections that eliminates the use of conventional dope during running operations, and Proxxima™ resin systems with Goldilocks™ technology, designed for subsea thermal insulation applications.

These technologies illustrate Vallourec’s ability to address the increasingly complex challenges of the oil and gas industry, from well integrity to flow assurance in subsea production systems.

In addition to exhibiting its technologies, Vallourec took part in strategic industry discussions through the participation of its experts. On the first day of the event, Ana Luiza Angelo joined panels focused on decarbonization and CCUS, CCS, DACCS, and BECCS, sharing insights on technologies and pathways to reduce emissions across the energy sector.

On the same day, Mariana Kobayashi intermediated a technical session addressing the impact of artificial intelligence on the oil and gas market and workforce culture. The following day, Arthur Araújo Máximo represented the company in a discussion dedicated to well completion and sand control.

Vallourec’s participation at ROG.e reinforced its position as a strategic partner to the oil and gas industry, combining innovation, technical expertise, and industrial capabilities to support the development of increasingly demanding projects in Brazil and around the world.
